Passport Qi45 Euro

Professional built-in radar and laser detector
One of the best custom installed detector in the EU
with EURO mode

Qi45, Quick Install in 45 minutes. What does it mean? You can install this product in less than 45 minutes into your car, under the bumper.

The high-tech radar receiver and the laser sensor on the front provide professional sensitivity in radar and laser detection. It is provided for European use with EURO mode by the Beltronics-ESCORT factory. It can alert you when you are near to the newest lidars or radars, and you can set a lot of settings to make your detector more effective.

It can alert you from extreme distances, included X, K, Ka Superwide, Ka Narrow and Ku bands too.

It is possible to choose three different sensitivity levels to minimize false alerts. In Automatic mode the Qi45 will choose the best sensitivity level for your speed. In Highway mode your detector is in the most sensitivity level. In AutoNoX mode (called City mode before) X band is not used. Furthermore if you need you can turn on and set the sensitivity of X band in the AutoNoX mode.

Due to the sensors built under the bumper or into the grille, the Escort Qi45 EURO gives proper warning of any laser measurement without using extra laser sensors to detect lidar guns.

The product alerts you when policemen check your speed, it cannot jam the speed-checking. If you want to jam it then you need a laser jammer.

Matt Klein
"My first thought on this radar detector unit is it's a bit pricey, but for those who seem to have a hard time keeping it below the speed limit for whatever reason this is truly the unit you need. Since I fit into this category I splurged in attempt to save my driving record!

Granted I am not usually going too awfully fast, but it never fails it is an officer in need of filling their quota. I have no idea how the Qi45 really works (electronics are just not my thing), I can vouch for the fact that several times now I have gone by an officer giving his radar gun a funny look trying to make sense of the reading. To me that is why I paid the money to assist me in finding those radar hot spots that I may miss when I am concentrating on the road itself."

"The Passport Qi45 has really changed driving for me and made it fun again! Before, the radar detection I was using would really let me down once I was in an area where the officers used laser to nab speeders. I now get one of the earliest warnings and all of my friends who have other models are impressed with how quickly it can pick up anything in the area and alert me to a radar setup.

I also like the display on this model a lot. Other radar detectors I have used in the past were impossible to see once the sun hit the display. But even with direct sunlight shining on the Qi45 was able to clearly read the current warnings.

The price may seem a little steep for some, but if you want to have fun in your car again then it is worth every penny. "
